Someone said that since it's live bacteria it needs to eat something like ammonia and if not it will not work. They also said that once the bottles open it only lasts for 7 to 10 days. The other products that I have seen supposedly aren't live bacteria. So basically what he said was Wait till you have pneumonia by putting fish food in then put the Fritzzyme 7 in which will turn the ammonia into nitrite and then the nitrite in to nitrate.

I didn't understand why snails were getting out of the tank all of sudden. Today I saw eggs at the bottom of the tank and got confused wondering where they came from. After opening the lid, I discovered 2 clusters. If I had a bigger tank and river nearby, I wouldn't have minded let growing all of them but I live in a city so I had no choice but to discard the 2 clusters leaving only 6 eggs stuck in the surface. I'm sorry if you felt bad but we have a small tank, It's hard to maintain them.

Gotta say that internet says alot about things not working in the fish tanks. Personal experience often says otherwise.

I have in a tank with a bunch of fish would be okay if I housed the mother and her baby’s in a very large breeder container within the tank to ensure the baby’s safety?

I've shattered many dremal blades being impatient careless cutting hard plastic. Definitely wear eye protection, and keep your mouth shut 😅 I've learnt in too impatient to use a cutting blade, so I grind out my holes using the various carving bits now. Which means eye and respiratory protection

I'd love any advice I have 7 different corydoras and only albino and peppered spawn. Pandas spanned once all water parameters are same and use live black worms and tubifix and some green wafers for Cory and worms tried bare tank tried media tried other fish. All Cory species have 6 in school.

I cannot keep my fish in my tap water which is 600 + tds ( borewell ) for my discus tank. I had to opt for RO ( not DI ) but then a secondary problem cropped up as my Ph constantly dropped as the buffering capacity of the water ( dkh ) was low.

I'd love to see my pandas spawn , but i only have the one community aquarium. and while i could raise the spawn in a temporary container, i'm not sure where i would even be able to sell them. There's mostly Market chains selling them around here- they seem to be only buying from suppliers. How much do you even get per fish? If they sell a cory for 4 €, i guess they'd pay you what... 50 cent? 1 €? And how old would they have to be untill they're old enough to be given away?

Ok.... 3 days ago, I got my first humpback dragon puffer. Today, I threw in some feeder guppies.. very small feeders. I just noticed small fry gathered around the puffers belly. There's no way they are guppies. I wish I could share pictures. Will she eat her babies? Should I add crushed flake food for the fry? I wasn't expecting this.

My experience with my Pandas has been different and seemingly unusual. Put my 4 grown up pandas in their own tank on Sunday. They all looked like either males or 4 non egg filled females. Added 8 young pandas (they're somewhere under 1 year old) on the Monday afternoon. By 11am the next morning I had about 15 eggs on the glass and plant leaves. I've no idea which ones laid the eggs but it must have been more than 1 female for that many eggs that quickly. I will add, the weather changed from clear to raining between Sunday and Tuesday.

I have a mystery snail which I got in November. When I bought it, it was about the size of one of my fingernails. It grew like crazy in my heavily planted tank, and it did not even take a nibble out of any of my plants. It has done a fantastic job keeping both the substrate and the aquarium glass clean (with a little help from my hillstream loaches). Overnight, and through part of the morning, it laid its first clutch of eggs. It seems to be a pretty good sized clutch, and I'm going to try incubating them in the way you showed in a previous video. I have one question though. Do mystery snails breed true, or do you get skittles when they hatch? The mom is a really pretty magenta mystery snail, and if the babies are anything close to true, they should end up being gorgeous. Even if they don't, they'll probably be gorgeous, and then I'll have to figure out who I keep, and who I rehome. I won't be able to keep very many since I don't want to overpopulate my tank.

I just got into hobby and this is another setup that I would take into consideration and combine with my own ideas.

I left my male in and he helps the female guard and raise the babies. If you haven't yet, i would recommend adding a couple guppies next time so that the male protects them and learns how to care for the fry toom

Hi 👋 question I just got a new vinegar ell culture , do you feed on a daily basis to your fish ? Or only to your fry ?

Do you treat your water before it goes in the hatchery? Or do you just fill it out of the tap?

How often do you do a water change in the sump tank? I understand hormone build up can be an issue... does the filter help with that?
